Online Group

Join us for Holistic Approaches to Mental Health Online Group & Coping With Coronavirus

Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, or bipolar, and you’re interested in learning holistic techniques for managing your symptoms? This group will cover several holistic approaches to creating optimal mental health.

The online group consists of four 90-minute sessions.

Dr. Vora keeps the group size small to ensure that everyone gets to ask questions. This also allows her to target the information to the personal needs of the members of the group.

Logistics:

  • Four 90-minute online sessions
  • Dates: To be determined
  • The class meets over zoom conference
  • If you’re unable to attend the live sessions, you can send questions ahead and watch the replay anytime

What past participants are saying:

“Life-changing wisdom without attitude! Dr, Vora is intuitive, well informed, humble and warm, a combination that doesn’t exist in the majority of Western medicine.“

“Dr. V’s holistic psychiatry group was not only a source of thoughtfully researched mental health information and actionable items to help create immediate benefit but also a safe and inviting space for genuine connection and support.”

“In Farsi we say ‘what comes from the heart lands on the heart’. Dr. Vora’s intuition and knowledge are very heartfelt for me and I am forever grateful…“

“I have done many online ‘trainings’, been a part of several groups, etc. and this by far was one of the best. I was hesitant about the connection over zoom and Dr. Vora navigated it so well.” – Sheila Shervey, LMFT

“I want to thank you so much for offering this space of healing with your wisdom and expertise. It’s hard to articulate how transformative this period has been since I joined. It makes me want to cry (my new favorite pastime!). Your willingness to share your time and answer the same questions again and again and create space for some gray area, gentleness, and compassion transcends and redefines the expected medical experience. I don’t know how much longer (if ever) it would have taken me on this journey to reach the clarity I have during this experience, but I am so grateful to you and the synchronicities that brought me to your group that the time was now. Keep fighting the good fight; there are millions more like me that need your message and the special way you deliver it.”

“Thank you for not just listening to all of us today – but for taking the time to “hear” all of us. Your authentic compassion makes a difference. Your nuanced, thoughtful advice is a breath of fresh air.” – Estelle

“Thank you for a wonderful four weeks. I have learned more from you in four weeks than I have from my psychiatrist in four years!”

“You are uniquely gifted and authentic and beautifully yourself. We need your work on this planet.”

“Thank you as always for all of your helpful insight and advice – I really appreciate it and have taken a lot of tools with me to help me improve my life.  Can’t thank you enough and I keep telling all of my friends about you!”

“Learned so much from your program. A+++” – Jessica

“I wanted to say thank you again for the Coronavirus support group. The first few (ok several) weeks of quarantine were very hard for me and I can’t afford therapy right now. In just the few sessions we spent together, I feel like I learned tools for coping that I will use for the rest of my life. I’m doing so much better already. I really appreciate that you cared enough for folks that are struggling financially right now to offer something donation based. Thank you.”

“Thank you for another beautiful group today, that was a really lovely experience and I appreciate you seeing/hearing me and everyone else individually while facilitating a powerful group dynamic.”

Note: the online group does not take the place of treatment. The purpose of this is to provide holistic mental health strategies to support mental health treatment. Dr. Vora is not in a position to be a participant’s psychiatrist, prescribe meds, respond to emergencies, or manage medication tapers, but Dr. Vora will be able to complement treatment with a holistic perspective. Dr. Vora will teach strategies, tips and techniques for reclaiming mental health using diet, lifestyle, and other holistic practices.
